4. Choose the appropriate catheter size. For children or those with urethral stricture, the catheter size should be small;

5. When inserting the catheter, the action should be gentle to avoid damaging the urethral mucosa. Do not insert too deep or too shallow, especially avoid repeatedly pulling the catheter;

6. When using, please strictly operate aseptically. Only sterile water can be injected into the balloon, and the amount of water injected should not exceed the marked capacity;

7. If the bladder is overfilled and the patient is extremely weak, urination should be slow, and the first urination volume should not exceed 1000mL to avoid sudden bladder decompression causing bleeding or fainting;

8. When measuring residual urine, instruct the patient to urinate first and then catheterize. The normal residual urine volume is 5-10mL. If it exceeds 100mL, catheterization should be performed;

9. When indwelling catheters, the fixation of the catheter should be checked frequently to see if it has been dislodged. It is recommended to replace the catheter according to clinical nursing standards or cycle. When inserting again, let the urethra relax for a few hours before reinserting;

10. If there is resistance when pulling out the catheter, do not forcefully pull it out, otherwise it will damage the urethra;

11. When pulling out the catheter, an empty syringe can be inserted into the valve using the water injection method to allow the water to drain naturally, or the one-way valve can be cut off to drain naturally and then pulled out. If there is resistance, do not forcefully pull out, otherwise it will damage the urethra;

12. If it is found that the sterile water in the balloon cannot be discharged and other measures cannot be taken to discharge the sterile water, please contact the manufacturer in a timely manner and handle it under the guidance of the manufacturer. It is recommended to use a guide wire or take out the sterile water after undergoing perineal puncture under ultrasound.

13. For patients with unstable emotions or uncontrollable behavior, it is necessary to strengthen nursing care. It is recommended to use a single lumen catheter, and if necessary, appropriate restraint should be implemented to prevent patients from self extracting the catheter and causing organic damage.

14. After use, the product and packaging should be disposed of in accordance with hospital or environmental requirements.
