We offer a wide range of Sunnen style honing abrasives including diamond honing stone, CBN honing stones. Honing tools incl. mandrels, honing head, wedges, retainers, adapters, guide shoes, alignment bushings, truing sleeves etc.
Honing mandrel composition
What is the role of the honing rod composition and each honing component:
Honing stone: the grinding strip is bonded to the base and is the main part involved in grinding;
Honing mandrel: the rear end is connected with the connector, and the front end groove is a cut body of the honing stone;
Adapter: connecting the honing rod and the honing machine spindle to transmit torque;
Wedge: push the oil stone up and make the oil stone participate in the grinding;
Retainer: Connect to the connector to tighten the oil stone to prevent the flying strip.
