5by5 Welded Steel Electrical Box 1.60mm Thickness Hot Dip Coil With Universal Knockouts

Designed for use with rigid/IMC and EMT conduit, these 5" steel boxes are suitable for audio, video, data and power applications in healthcare, education, commercial and government facilities.

Design features

Large cubic capacity: 67 cubic inches
Various knockout combinations and grounding terminations
Application-specific color options are available – red (fire signal applications) and blue (telecommunications)
5" square series adapter plate (AX5CP) accommodates the use of readily available 4" square box covers, mud rings and tile rings

5-Gang Box, Welded, 2-1/2 in. Deep, Eight 3/4 & 1 in. Concentric KO's, Six 1/2 in. KO's, and Ten 3/4 in. KO's

Gang boxes save time in installation, no need to gang boxes together.
Have 3/4" and 1" concentric KO's for use with a wide variety of wiring methods.
Bottom KO pattern, 3-1/2" and 2-3/4" at either end of box.
Accepts two styles of covers, flat and 3/4" raised device cover.
Use low voltage partitions #947 or #949.

Installation steps:

Install Bar hangers on ceiling joists or wall studs by screws.
Take off screw from stud on bar hanger, installs in 1/2” knockouts located on the bottom of boxes.
All above 5 Bar hangers are installed with metallic boxes on wall studs or ceiling joists.
When intended to support a fixture/luminaire in a wall, load capacity is 6 kg (13 Ib).

Application: These wall support brackets are used to support electrical boxes from ﬂoor or concrete forms.
They also help prevent electrical boxes from being pushed back into the wall cavity during drywall installation.
Advantages: fold back stabilizers ensure an easy and secure electrical box installation in wall applications. They are designed to mount square boxes on walls 12”to 24” above the ﬂoor. ﬂoor and wall kick plate support brackets have box screws that are exposed after mounting so the conduits can be secured from the front of the box opening. Additionally, their multiple heights accommodate a variety of fnished ﬂoor heights.

Application: These multi-box mounting brackets are used to secure conduit boxes in stud walls.
Advantages: Multi box mounting brackets allow the installer to quickly and easily mount 4”, 4-11/16” or 6”square conduit boxes in stud walls.
