This cold-rolled carbon-magnesium steel offers a guaranteed minimum
level of mechanical characteristics. It is suitable for many applications in multiple sectors as well as
offering a good supply to our distributors and service centres. Available as sheet or coiled steel in thicknesses from 0.50mm to
3mm and widths from 60cm to 207cm. Joined by welding, crimping, or riveting. Options: oiling, can be protected using a thin dry organic film
(Easyfilm®). High strength cold-rolled steel with low carbon content and
micro-alloyed with strong mechanical characteristics that meet the
requirements of the Pr EN 10268/2004 standard. It is particularly suitable for mechanised welding of structural
pieces due to its weldability improved by its low carbon content,
and to roll forming with regard to consistency and reliability of
its mechanical characteristics. It is available as sheet or coiled steel in thicknesses from 0.30mm
to 3.15mm and widths from 60cm to 183cm. It is assembled by welding, riveting and adhesive bonding. Options: Surface appearance, surface finishing, oiling. Cold-rolled steel as defined in the EN 10130/98 standard, with
guaranteed maximum mechanical characteristics and guaranteed
minimum ductility and formability. It is suited to formation by bending or drawing, which enables
complex parts to be produced in good repeatable conditions and
intended for indoor use. Available as sheet or coiled steel in thicknesses from 0.40mm to
4mm and widths from 60cm to 207cm. It is joined by welding, crimping, clinching, or adhesive bonding. Options: Surface appearance, Surface finish, oiling. Properties This is a range of cold rolled non-alloyed mild steel grades with
guaranteed maximum yield and tensile strength, guaranteed minimum
ductility (elongation at fracture) and good formability (n and r
values). These grades comply with the requirements of the EN
10130:2006 standard and are obtained after either batch or
continuous annealing. Advantages These steel grades have excellent formability, which facilitates
cold forming operations, and are ideal for deep drawing. Our range of steels for cold forming offer excellent forming
performance, due to the low scattering of their chemical
composition and their mechanical properties, which guarantees
processing consistency. |
