Production Description
Galvanized steel tubes, also known as galvanized pipes, are hollow cylindrical structures made of steel that have been coated with a layer of zinc to provide protection against corrosion. These tubes are commonly used in various applications across different industries due to their durability and resistance to rust.
The galvanization process for steel tubes involves either hot-dip galvanization or electroplating. In hot-dip galvanization, the steel tube is submerged in a bath of molten zinc, which bonds metallurgically with the steel, forming a protective zinc coating on both the inside and outside of the tube. Electroplating, on the other hand, involves the application of a thin layer of zinc onto the steel tube through an electrochemical process.
