Tin-plated sheet (also known as tinplate) is a cold-rolled sheet of
steel plated on both sides with a very thin layer of metal tin,
which combines the hardness and strength of steel with tin's easy
weldability, corrosion resistance, and bright appearance.
Tin-plated plate has the advantages of odorless and non-toxic,
lightweight, easy to process and molding. Printing different
patterns can also beautify the product, so in the food canning
industry, electronic devices, chemical paints and other industries
have been widely used.
In the production process of tin-plated plate, strip by tin-plated
soft melt, in order to prevent tin-plated plate in storage or paint
baking tin layer oxidation yellowing, while improving the
tin-plated plate sulfur resistance and other properties, tin-plated
plate to passivation treatment.
Tin-plated properties

coating thickness, the corrosion resistance requirements of
different contents can be met.
- Superior finishing properties: can be printed with a variety of
paints and inks
- Excellent weldability: various cans can be manufactured by welding
(including brazing).
- Great processability and strength: Selection of appropriate
tempering grade can meet the processing requirements and strength
after moulding.
- Bright appearance: the surface of tin-plated sheet has bright
metallic luster, and products with different surface roughness can
be obtained by selecting substrates with different surface
conditions.
Tinplate is most commonly used for the production of various
containers, such as food and beverage cans. However, the use of
tinplate is not limited to the production of containers; tinplate
is also used in the manufacture of engine parts and many other
products.

Application
Tinplate is widely used for making all types of containers(such as
