Why process electroplated silver?

Silver electroplating refers to the plating of a layer of silver coating on the surface of the metal by electrolysis. It is known that silver metal has very good electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity and gloss. Silver electroplating can produce silver mirror reaction. Now briefly talk about the purpose of electroplated silver processing:
First, the plating of silver is easy to polish, and has a strong reflective ability and good thermal, conductive, welding performance. Silver plating was first applied to decoration. In the electronic industry, communication equipment and instrument manufacturing, silver plating is widely used to reduce the surface of metal parts contact resistance, Shenzhen silver plating to improve the welding ability of metal.
Second, the metal reflectors in searchlights and other reflectors are also plated with silver. Because silver atoms are easy to diffuse and slip along the surface of the material, it is easy to produce "silver must" in the humid atmosphere, resulting in short circuit, so silver coating is not suitable for use in printed circuit boards. At present, the main silver plating solution is cyanide plating solution
