OVERVIEW
Nitinol are the most comprehensively studied and best shape memory alloys. They have the characteristics of high strength, high plasticity, good corrosion resistance, good stability and excellent biocompatibility. The superiority of its application in medicine is that other shape memory alloys can not be replaced.
Nitinol combines two closely related unique characteristics: shape memory and superelasticity. Shape memory gives Nitinol the ability to be deformed at one temperature, and then return to its original shape when being heated to its transformation temperature. This effect is caused by the material changing from its low temperature monoclinic martensitic structure to the high temperature cubic austenitic structure.

APPLICATION OF NITINOL
Nitinol is widely used in aerospace machinery, mechano-electronic, biomedicine and daily life because of its many excellent properties.
1. For biomecicine, nitinol archwire is used for the early alignment of patients' teeth. Nitinol push spring and tension spring are springs used for orthodontic teeth, scoliosis orthopedic device. In addition, nitinol was used in surgery to make various bone connector, blood vessel clip, coagulation filters, blood vessel dilation components, all kinds of intracavitary stent, embolization device, heart patch, thrombus filters, interventional guide wires and surgical sutures, etc.
2. For aerospace industry, SMA have been used in aerospace and space applications such as low-temperature mating connectors for hydraulic systems in military aircraft, and it is being developed in Europe and the United States for the intelligent horizontal rotor of helicopters. It is also being used for antenna of lunar probes, and in the satellite, a shape memory release device is used to open a container used to protect sensitive germanium detectors from contamination during assembly and launch.
3. For mechno-electronic, SMA is used for low temperature mating connectors, safety connector for wire braided layer of conductor, springs that open and close the shutter to protect the fog lamp from flying debris, and driving cylinder used in mechanical manufacturing to replace a manual or hydraulic clamp, etc.
4. For daily life, SMA was used for anti-scald valve, glasses frame, mobile phone antenna and fire check valve.

Nitinol sheet, strip and foil are the newest and most exciting product forms for this unique shape memory alloy. Nitinol sheet is ideal for laser cutting, etching, stamping and EDM machining. Efficient processing and surface finishing establishes a smooth, light oxide surface.
Many new medical innovations are now possible with the use of this very thin and versatile Nitinol form. Sheet is a two-dimensional structure, unlike wire and tube, giving us design options like stamping, punching, and deep drawing.

ADVANTAGE
1. First of all, all incoming Nitinol raw materials are subjected to third party inspection to ensure they meet proprietary specifications for chemistry, transformation temperature, material homogeneity, and microstructure. To promote an exceptionally smooth and uniform surface finish quality, all wire and tube products utilize a high precision single and or multi-crystalline diamond drawing die technology. After the correct super-elastic heat treatment, medical grade nickel-titanium materials can undergo up to 8% strain without permanent bending at human temperature.
2. All our Nitinol material and products are made according to customers specifications.
3. Material can be provided as super elastic or higher transformation temperature shape memory from 0℃ to 100℃.
