A rapid test for identification of human blood in suspected stain CE certified

Applications:

The Blood Stain Rapid Test Cassette (Stain) is a rapid chromatographic immunoassay for identification of human blood in suspected stain.

Description:

The Blood Stain Rapid Test Cassette (Stain) is a qualitative, lateral flow immunoassay for identification of human blood in a suspected stain. The membrane is pre-coated with anti-hemoglobin antibodies on the test line region. During testing, the specimen reacts with the particle coated with anti-hemoglobin antibody. The mixture migrates upward on the membrane chromatographically by capillary action to react with anti-hemoglobin antibodies on the membrane and generate a colored line.

How to use?

Allow the test, specimen, buffer and/or controls to reach room temperature (15-30°C) prior to testing.

  1. Bring the pouch to room temperature before opening it. Remove the test Cassette from the sealed pouch and use it as soon as possible.
  2. Place the test cassette on a clean and level desk, transfer 2 drops of solution into the sample well of the test cassette.
  3. Start the timer and wait for the color line (s) to appear. Read the result at 5minutes; do not interpret the result after 10 minutes.

INTERPRETATION OF RESULTS

POSITIVE:* Two lines appear. One colored line should be in the control line region (C) and another apparent colored line should be in the test line region (T).

*NOTE: The intensity of the color in the test line region (T) will vary depending on the concentration of human semen present in the specimen. Therefore, any shade of color in the test line region (T) should be considered positive.

NEGATIVE: One colored line appears in the control line region (C). No line appears in the test line region (T).

INVALID: Control line fails to appear. Insufficient specimen volume or incorrect procedural techniques are the most likely reasons for control line failure. Review the procedure and repeat the test with a new test. If the problem persists, discontinue using the test kit immediately and contact your local distributor.

Blood Stain Rapid Test Dipstick (Stain)

suspected stain.

PRINCIPLE

The Blood Stain Rapid Test Dipstick (Stain) is a qualitative, lateral  flow immunoassay for identification of human blood in a suspected  stain.

REAGENTS

The test strip contains hemoglobin monoclonal antibody particles and  hemoglobin monoclonal antibody coated on the membrane.

PRECAUTIONS

Please read all the information in this package insert before  performing the test.

1. For forensic use only. Do not use after the expiration date.

1.Bring the pouch to room temperature before opening it. Remove  the test Dipstick from the sealed pouch and use it as soon as  possible.

2.With arrows pointing toward the mixture solution, immerse the test  dipstick vertically into the mixture solution for 10-15 seconds. DO  NOT PASS THE “MAX” LINE on the lower strip label of the dipstick  when immerse the dipstick.

3.Place the dipstick on a level and clean desk, start the timer and  wait for the color line (s) to appear. Read the result at 5 minutes, do  not interpret the result after 10 minutes.
