Because this method sacrifices the anode (the negative electrode of the primary battery) to protect the cathode, it is called the sacrificial anode (cathode) protection method.

Installation tutorial:

1. Please be sure to first turn off the main power switch and the main water switch, pay attention to safety first

2. After the water inside the water heater is cool, to avoid burns, prepare the capacity water directly under the sewage outlet, and loosen the drain nut with a wrench or a sleeve.

3. Unscrew the nut completely by hand, and gently remove the magnesium rod and other sewage.

4. Circulating and heating, you can clean the inner tank and reinstall the new magnesium rod.
