RFID RS232 Manual Insertion Metal Bezel Smart Hybrid Card Reader
Overview:
A manual insertion metal frame reader, also known as an EMV reader
or a chip reader, is a device that reads and processes data from a
card with an embedded microchip or magnetic stripe. The metal bezel
refers to the outer border of the card reader, providing structural
support and helping to protect internal components. Manual
insertion means that the user has to physically insert the card
into the reader, rather than just holding the card close to its
contactless reader. Typically used in end systems, this reader is
designed to be more secure than traditional magnetic stripe
readers. Embedded microchips generate a unique transaction code for
each transaction, making it harder for the data to be stolen and
used for fraudulent purposes.
