Types of Sponge Pads for Polishing:
Foam Pads:(sponge pads)
Cutting Pads: Used for removing deep scratches and heavy oxidation.
They are more aggressive.
Polishing Pads: Designed for refining the surface after cutting,
removing fine scratches, and swirl marks.
Finishing Pads: These are the softest pads and are used for
applying final polishes, sealants, or waxes to give a glossy
finish.
Microfiber Pads:These pads have a microfiber surface and are often
used for more aggressive polishing and cutting, providing a good
balance between cutting power and finish.
Wool Pads: Made from natural or synthetic wool, these pads are more
aggressive than foam pads and are typically used in the initial
stages of polishing to remove significant defects.
