A&S Heat-treated loader bucket cutting edges are made with boron steel that is through hardened to a hardness of 420-512 Brinell compared to standard high carbon steel that has a hardness of up to 320 Brinell.

CAT 988K are manufactured to achieve high output in all
applications, and can be supplied in heavy and super heavy
versions for different and harsh mining working
conditions such as limetone, copper, lithium, cobalt,
aluminum, nickel, gold, silver, coal, jade and other mine
applications.
