Flat strips made of carbon steel, bronze, and POM (Polyoxymethylene) are commonly used in various industrial applications due to their unique properties and advantages. These materials offer a range of characteristics, including strength, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance, which make them suitable for different bearing and bushing applications.
Composite bearings are a type of bearing that combines multiple materials to achieve desired properties. These bearings can incorporate carbon steel, bronze, POM, or other materials in their construction to provide optimized performance for specific applications.
Cylindrical bushings, also known as plain bushings, are mechanical components that are used to reduce friction between moving parts. They are commonly made of materials like carbon steel, bronze, or POM, and are designed to fit into cylindrical holes or shafts. DIN 1494 is a standard that specifies the dimensions and tolerances for plain bearings and bushings.
When selecting flat strips, composite bearings, or cylindrical bushings for your application, it is important to consider the specific requirements and operating conditions. The choice of material, size, and design will depend on factors such as load capacity, speed, temperature, and lubrication conditions.
By using flat strips, composite bearings, and cylindrical bushings that meet DIN 1494 standards and are made of suitable materials, you can ensure reliable and efficient operation of your machinery and equipment.
FLAT STRIPS POM composite bushings are referred to as prelubricated because their material is designed to operate with marginal lubrication. These bushing type effectively fills the gap between fully lubricated and dry sliding bushings.
Metric bearings and imperial bushings made to order: standard bushing forms in special dimensions, half-bushings, special shapes obtained by stamping, bearings with locating notches, lubricant holes and machined grooves, customized bushing designs.
VIIPLUS CHINA offers a wide range of straight POM composite bushings.VIIPLUS slide bushing made to order from china interchange to competitors parts that cross over to Daemar Inc Bushings. Inch/Metric examples of Garlock (), Ina-Permaglide, Federal Mogul Glycodur, Garmax, fiber-lube.

Self-Lubricating Multilayer Composite Bushing is of excellent anti-abrasion performance, mainly due to the particular molecule structure of PTFE. The abrasion process can be generally divided into three phases, so there kinds of friction coefficient. See the right graph:
1. "Running-in" phrase: PTFE compound on the bushing is transferred to its mating surface and forms a lubricating film.At this phase, the friction coefficient is bigger, thus the abrasion pace is very quick. See the curve showed in area I of the graph.
2. "Stabilization" abrasion phrase: After the "Running-in phase", the friction happens between PTFE and PTFE,thus the friction coefficient is smaller and keeps steady. As a result, the wear rate is low and steady. See the curve showed in areaⅡof the graph.
3. "Sharp" abrasion phrase: As PTFE in the porous layer is slowly
consumed up, not enough lubricant can be supplied to the gliding
media. Friction coefficient and wear rate will rapidly rise. When 70% of the bronze surface is exposed, service life of
Self-Lubricating Multilayer Composite Bushing closes to its end.
