Introduction
OWPS-0216DT series Deuterium lamp power supply was developed by OWO team in 2014,and its perfect replacement for expensive original models, the product has CE proved and 18 months warranty. OWO now offer Deuterium lamp power supply that is commonly used in UV spectra chromatography , atomic absorption, UV-Visible spectrophotometer ,other spectroscopic equipments and also can be connect with tungsten lamp. Compared to the traditional linear power supplies this deuterium lamp switching power supply abolishes cumbersome transformers, it has set filament preheat, high voltage trigger and constant current control are just a number of features the deuterium power supply to ensure the stability of UV spectra. A small compact size, light weight and one of the biggest advantage is applicable to international mains input Voltage in the 85-265V AC, no switching required! The power supply also has control port allowing external control signals (such as CPU ormanual) which can easily turn on or off the deuterium lamp. OWPS-0216DT series deuterium power supply has professional anti-electromagnetic interference design, theelectromagnetic interference reach to grade A. OWPS-0216DT series power supply support deuterium lamp and tungsten lamp use, the voltage offering for the tungsten lamp can be customized to 6V,12V,24V, power range:5W-30W.

The control port has an optocoupler insulated with the power supply as the circuit above. control mode: High level :turn off, Low level: light turn on. High level voltage range DC 3 ~ 12V,current: above 1mA. Signal port is a feedback signal of the lamp light on or off, the signal can be used to CPU

Light up the lamp(Deuterium lamp)

Input AC 85 ~ 265V, The control port: low level, the relay closed ,the filament preheating, the preheating time is fixed, can't be adjust. the lamp will light up in constant current working status after 10 seconds. The trigger voltage is automatically applied to the anode after preheating. High stable deuterium lamp ultraviolet energy will be produced after 1 hour, Constant flow accuracy can reach to 0.005‰. Please do not watch the flare in the tube after the lamp light up, or your eyes will be damaged by the light! If you need to temporarily turn off the lamp, please add a 1mA current High level voltage DC 3-12V to the Control port ,the turn off signal must be kept at least for 3 seconds to make sure the circuit reset! the lamp will start to preheating and working after the Turn off signal disconnect. if your instrument controlled by CPU, and the lamp light up once the CPU turn on, as the CPU's reset output High-level voltage then return to Low-level, so the lamp will be short -time cut off during this period (less than 3 seconds),and the internal circuit can't be reset, the lamp will not light up even the Turn off signal has disconnected. The right solution for this situation is input the High-level (Turn off Signal ) for 3-5 seconds, then transfer to Low-level (Turn on signal),then the lamp will be light up.
 
Lamp signal port application(Figure 4): choose the external resistor according to the DC voltage(DC3-12V),internal pull-up resistor is 10K,(If signal isolation is required,can use an optocoupler instead of the external resistor). Signal type: lamp turn on:Low-level ,lamp turn off: High-level

Light up the lamp(Tungsten lamp)

The control port voltage range: DC 3-12V,current:10mA. High-level:turn off The DC output can be fine adjustment by potentiometer on the PCB, used to adjust the tungsten lamp energy. 6V tungsten lamp: the adjustment range:5.0-5.7 V,max current:2.0A. 12V tungsten lamp: the adjustment range:10.5-11.5V max current:2.0A. Please do not set the voltage over the range, it will make the lamp not work stable.
