Product description

 

Loop detectors are used wherever vehicles have to be detected, for example: monitoring and safe guarding access ways or counting vehicles. The output signal can be used for controlling door and gate drive mechanisms, operating barriers, controlling traffic light systems in car parks or activating card dispensers in car parks.

Loop detector with direction detecting function that can be used to statistics the vehicle flux. The principle is based on a change in the inductance within the loop which is caused by the metallic components of passing vehicles. The changes are picked up and evaluated by a microprocessor. Ease of use thanks to automatic calibration when the operating voltage is applied.

Functions & Features :

 

1) Reset Switch : The reset switch enables the detector to be manually reset during registering and testing and it is a process of system recovery;

 

2) Selectable Pulse Time : This feature sets the length of time that the pulse relay will be lasting for 1 Second or 0.5 Seconds ;

 

3) Pulse Relay Selection : The Pulse Relay may be configured to energize on detection of a vehicle or when the vehicle leaves the loop;

 

4) Sensitivity Reinforcement : This feature sets the un-detecting level to a maximum sensitivity to prevent failing to detect vehicles as big trucks;

 

5) Switch Sensibility Adjustable : 4 sensitivity setting are available on the switches to change sensitivity ;

 

6) Switch Frequency Adjustable : 4 frequency settings are available to prevent signal interference with neighboring loops ;

 

7) Filtering Option : This option is used to provide a delay between detection of the vehicle and switching of the output relay . This relay is normally used to prevent false detection of small or fast moving objects ;

 

8) Permanent Presence Option : This feature ensures the detection of the vehicle will be maintained when the vehicle stays within the loop area for extended periods

 

Work Indicator

 

Detector will enter into the self-calibration condition with the green LED flash, red LED extinguish once on power, this procession will last 1 second. .the vehicle should not on the loops within the self-calibration. The green LED will not flash, he red LED extinguish after self-calibration. When the vehicle past over the loop ,the red LED on.

 

DIP SWITCH and Wire Jumper

 

DIP1, 2 setting the sensitivity;set the presence output time of relay 1 by DIP3;set the relay2 as presence/pulse output by DIP4; the output time of presence signal set by DIP5;DIP6set the frequency; jumper wire connect to the open end, PIN16 connect to the NO of relay 1. Jumper wire connect to the close end, PIN16 connect to the NC of relay 1.

 

Work Frequency

 

User can change the loop's work frequency which can avoid the cross talk by the adjacent loop or environment frequency. It offers two styles frequency, set by DIP6

 

Sensitivity Adjustable

 

The DIP1,DIP2 on the front panel can adjust the sensitivity. If the vehicle has not any response when test it, the sensitivity should be improved.
