The principle of laser welding is that a laser beam emitted by a
laser generator focuses on the surface of the welding wire and
heats it up, causing the welding wire to melt, wetting the steel
plate on the vehicle body, filling the gap between the steel plate
joints, and ultimately achieving a good connection through the
formation of the weld seam. After welding, a brazing connection is
formed between the copper welding wire and the steel plate. The
copper welding wire and the steel plate are composed of different
elements, and the welding layer formed by them is the fusion of the
two different elements formed after high temperature. Compared to
traditional spot welding, this welding method has better welding
quality, faster speed, and higher strength of the welding area.

The Heat-affected zone is small. The input heat can be reduced to
the minimum demand, and the Heat-affected zone is small, so the
thermal deformation is also minimum.
Non contact type. Visible for welding, it belongs to non-contact
welding and does not require the use of electrodes. There is no
concern of electrode contamination or damage, and the wear and
deformation of the machine can also be minimized.
The laser beam is easy to focus, align and be guided by optical
instrument, can be placed at a proper distance from the workpiece,
and can be guided between machines, tools or obstacles around the
workpiece.
The laser beam can be focused on a very small area and can
automatically weld small and closely spaced components.
