Introduction:
The main components of aluminum chrome bricks are
corundum and chromium trioxide, with low impurity content, stable
high temperature chemical properties, high melting point, high
hardness and high strength. Chromium trioxide is introduced into
aluminum oxide.
Chromium trioxide and aluminum oxide can form high melting point compounds or eutectics with higher melting temperature with various oxides. For example, the melting temperature of the eutectic formed by chromium trioxide and silicon dioxide is as high as 1720℃.
Chromium trioxide and iron oxide can generate iron chromium spinel with melting point up to 2100℃, chromium trioxide and trioxide. Dialuminium can form a solid solution of aluminum and chromium; chromium trioxide and copper monoxide can form compounds with a melting point above 1600°C.
In addition, the viscosity of the slag can be greatly increased. Therefore, adding chromium trioxide to the refractory material can improve the slag resistance of the refractory material and reduce the structural spalling of the material to a certain extent
With the development of the past ten years, aluminum chrome bricks
have made great progress, from the original single import, to
domestic production, from imitation to innovation, from simple
carbon black, zinc oxide kilns, to enamel and ceramics. , Used in
glass and special chemical and metallurgical kilns. It shows that
the application fields of aluminum chrome bricks are extensive and
have great scientific research potential.
Since the raw material of aluminum chrome brick is waste residue,
the cost of the brick is lower. It is mainly used in the high
temperature parts of the kiln with lighter load, such as the upper
part of the regenerator of the glass kiln, and the arch brick of
the fire mouth of the non-ferrous metal smelting furnace.
It solves the problem that the existing
technology uses large chromium slag blocks and manually chiseled
them. The available part of the chromium slag is only about 50%;
there are many natural pores, and during use, the melt or slag is
corroded seriously; the service life is short . The raw materials
are crushed, classified and ground, batched, formed, dried and
fired. The finished bricks are produced after the kiln is
discharged. The advantages are that the application range of
chromium smelting slag is expanded, the aluminum chromium brick
produced has a compact structure, high volume density, and low
porosity; it can produce refractory products with various shapes,
which is convenient for construction and use and has a long service
life
