Round Shape Trim Tile Trim

Round shape trim in stainless steel is for outside corners of tiled walls that offers excellent edge protection against mechanical stresses. Prevents tile edges from chipping Ideal for commercial/industrial applications. Produces a radiused edge along the outside wall corner to create a clean, decorative finish. Installed on outside corners of existing installations. Ideal as a retrofit repair for existing tiled corners that are damaged. Cost-effective solution to repairing damaged tiled corners without having to replace them. Profile length is 8-ft 2-1/2-in and accommodates tiles that are 1-9/32-in thick.

It features a trapezoid-perforated anchoring leg that is secured in the mortar bond coat beneath the tile and a reveal that forms a symmetrically rounded outer corner with 1/4" (6 mm) radius along the surface edge. Round shape trim in stainless steel, is particularly resistant to wear when used as edge protection. It may also be used as a stair nosing or transition profile. In addition, it is suitable for transitions, corners, or other coverings with other covering materials; for example, carpet, parquetry, natural stone tiles, or cold-cured resin coatings. The integrated joint spacer forms a defined joint cavity with the tile. Round shape trim in stainless steel and solid brass, do not feature the integrated joint spacer. Matching inside and outside corners, including sink corners, and connectors are available. Matching end caps are available for round in stainless steel.

Installation:

1.Select the profile according to tile thickness and format.

2. Press the perforated anchoring leg of the profile into the mortar and align.

3. Trowel additional thin-set mortar over the perforated anchoring leg to ensure full coverage and support of the tile edges.

4. Fill the joint completely with grout or setting material.

5. Work with materials and tools that will not scratch or damage sensitive surfaces. Setting materials must be removed immediately, especially from aluminum.
