Description of Rebar Upsetting Sleeve For Steel Bar

The diameter of the sleeve wire is infinitely adjustable. Upsetting sleeve operation points:
1. Flat head at the end of the steel bar: After straightening the
steel bar, use a grinding wheel cutter or special cutting equipment
to cut the material. It is required that the end face of the steel
bar is perpendicular to the axis of the steel bar, the end is not
allowed to bend, and there must be no horseshoe shape. If the end
of the steel bar is unqualified, the end shall be cut off with a
grinding wheel cutting machine.
2. Upsetting test: Before each batch of steel bars enter the site
for processing, an upsetting test should be done, and the final
value of the optimal upsetting pressure and shortening amount
should be determined based on the qualified upsetting amount.
3. Initial upsetting: Before upsetting, the upsetting machine
should first return to zero position, then insert the steel bar
from the front end, tighten it, and then press the oil pump. First,
select an initial upsetting pressure for upsetting.
4. Determine the best parameters: check the upsetting finished
products processed by the upsetting experiment, mainly check
whether the upsetting base circle diameter, upsetting length,
upsetting shortened size, etc. meet the requirements, and adjust
the upsetting pressure according to the inspection results, The
qualification rate of finished products until upset is not less
than 95%, so as to determine the best parameters.
