Introduction of lime production line:
Lime production line refers to the whole process equipment line of
active lime production. Among all active lime production processes,
the rotary kiln production process is the most advanced one. Our
production process uses a rotary kiln with a vertical preheater and
a vertical cooler to calcine limestone to meet the production
requirements of high efficiency, energy saving, environmental
protection and high activity.
Process flow of lime production line:
Step 1: Raw material preparation
1. Limestone: The particle size of limestone should be between 10
and 40mm. The proportion of limestone above 40mm or below 10mm
should not exceed 5%. The maximum dimension should be less than
40mm.
2. Fuel: Furnace gas, coal gas, coal bed methane and pulverized
coal can be used as fuel.
The second step: raw material feeding
The limestone in the factory area is shoveled to the hopper by the
tractor, unloaded from the hopper to the vibrating feeder, and sent
to the vibrating screen by the belt conveyor for screening. The
size of ≥20mm is sent to the preheater by the conveyor. Dimensions
smaller than <20mm will be taken away.
Step 3: Limestone calcination
The limestone in the preheater is preheated by hot air, and then
discharged into the rotary kiln through the chute connecting the
preheater and the kiln, and stays in the kiln for 1.5-2 hours for
calcination. During this process, it is calcined at a temperature
of about 1300 °C , the decomposition of limestone releases CO2 to
complete the formation of quicklime.
Step 4: Finished product delivery
The lime is discharged from the vibrating feeder at the bottom of
the vertical cooler to the chain conveyor, and is lifted into lime
in the storage hopper, which can be used for dispatching or
transported to the hydration workshop.
Step 5: Dust Filtration System
There are two kinds of dust filtration systems. One is at the kiln
mouth. After the dust is filtered by the bag filter, the clean gas
is discharged into the air. The other is the dust from the lime
storage hopper and the feeding part of the bucket elevator, and the
dust is discharged into the air after being filtered by the cloth
bag.
