High-Temperature Resistance WNiCu Tungsten Heavy Alloy Pins

 

Tungsten Heavy Alloy Pins are made of tungsten base (tungsten content is generally 80%-98%) and a small amount of nickel, iron, copper, cobalt, molybdenum, chromium and other elements. The density of high specific gravity tungsten alloy can reach 15.20~18.70g/cm3, also known as high specific gravity tungsten alloy or high density alloy material. Because tungsten alloy weighs more than twice as much as steel.

 

Introduction and Feature of Tungsten Heavy Alloy Pins

  1. Tungsten alloy has a series of excellent properties, high specific gravity: general specific gravity 16.5-18.75g/cm3, high strength: tensile strength 700-1000mpa, strong light absorption: higher than the general lead specific gravity 30-40%, high thermal conductivity: die is 5 times of steel; Low thermal expansion coefficient: the capacity is only 1/2/3 of steel, with good electrical conductivity, welding resistance and cutting resistance.

  2. The common method of preparing heavy tungsten alloys is to mix the desired tungsten, iron, nickel or copper powder and then cold press the liquid phase to near full density. During the liquid phase treatment, the matrix tungsten alloy melts, and part of the tungsten enters the solution, forming the microstructure of large tungsten particles (20-60 m) dispersed in the matrix alloy.
