Right now, Customs uses traditional mechanical seal for cargo (or container) supervising on the way, which must be handled full manually during a customs' check. For a busy customs office, this method is time consuming and less efficient. Otherwise the mechanical seal has many disadvantages as following:

  • Easy to be copied
  • Manual work, manual abuse
  • Hardly present evidence
  • Non-auto-electronic control
  • Castoff lead pollution

E-lock system is developed to improve the cargo in-transmit monitoring. Based on advanced RFID wireless technology and micro control technology, the system will ensure the security of transition between the port and special district as well as improve the transportation efficiency.. It is mainly applied to the container transfer monitoring, especially for Customs supervising.

2. E-lock Indicator Description

Important Notes and warnings

  • ZCT08-3 Electronic lock uses built-in lithium battery, which can be charged and discharged about 500 times. The working voltage is 3.7-4.2D DC
  • Try not to use the E-lock in extreme environment as that with extremely high or low temperature, high humidity or corrosion. Lithium battery capacity and function can go down dramatically when its used beyond the temperature range -25℃ to 60℃
  • Working voltage of E-lock is 3.7V-4.2V, when the voltage is lower than 3.7V, it can still work. But to avoid battery drains during the trip, when locking at this time, it will prompt: lock failed with low voltage. Instant recharging is needed
  • After locking, the magnetic side of the lock need to be attached to the door of vehicle tightly

2.3 Warnings when using at dangerous site.

When using the E-lock at dangerous sites with gas, petrol etc, please note below:

  • Handle with care and follow the instruction
  • Charging need to be done in safe sites and use the specific charger from manufacturer.
  • Assembly or change components are prohibited, in order not to affect its feature of anti-explosion
  • Charging at dangerous sites is prohibited.
