A wireline roller centralizer is used when running in heavily deviated wells, The roller centralizer can overcome friction which can be caused by the tool string scraping against the tubing wall.

The stem-roller is composed of the body and roller.There are two rows of pulley grooves on the body and respective three races in every row,
the roller is fixed in the race with cylindrical pin, and the o.d. of the roller is larger than the diameter of the body.
