Description:
- Blufloc HA6518 is Partially Hydrolyzed Polyacrylamide PHPA, with
different molecular weights and with a moderate anionic charge for
drilling mud additive.
- The molecular weight is around 18-22 million, available in
water and salt wells.
- It is a co-polymer of anionic character and high molecular weight.
It is a water-soluble polymer, which is primarily used as a highly
efficient fluid loss reducer, viscosities, and protective colloid
for shale’s and cutting in fresh water, calcium, sodium brines, and
KCL mud systems. It is compatible with most drilling fluid
products, biopolymers, PAC, and CMC. It maintains borehole
stability by preventing shale swelling and erosion.
- Soluble in water, safe, non-toxic, hydrolytic stable, is not
sensitive to the change of pH value, and anti-chlorine. Harmless,
no-flammable and non-explosive, it can be stored at room
temperature, it cannot be placed in the sun. It is slightly acidic,
when skin contact, wash it immediately with plenty of water.

Functional Principle
1 | Flocculation Mechanism: Adsorbing suspension particles, polymer chains entangle and
cross-link each other to form bridging, and make flocculation
structure enlarge and thicken, and has the functions of surface
adsorption and electric neutralization. |
2 | Reinforcing Mechanism: PAM molecule chain and dispersed phase form bridging bond, ion bond
and covalent bond to increase combination strength. |
