SSI aeration disks and diaphragms are designed for efficiency and ease of use. We make connecting aeration trays to pipes easy using SSI's exclusive PODs™ connectors, economical universal Grommet connectors, or proprietary SSI® Quick Connect Saddles. Each method is designed to operate at 15 psig air pressure without leaking and withstand a pull load of 200 pounds.
Liftable aeration system
Microporous aeration systems are divided into fixed and liftable types in terms of installation form. All aerators and piping systems of the fixed aeration system are fixed at the bottom of the biochemical tank. Affected by the installation form, the fixed aeration system needs to be stopped for maintenance or replacement after water release and dredging. The liftable aeration system improves the installation structure of the pipeline system. When the product is filled with air, it is compressed by gas, and the micropores on the rubber diaphragm expand by themselves to fill the pool with oxygen. The bubbles are cut through the micropores and become smaller. The size of the bubbles can be adjusted by itself as the air volume increases or decreases, thereby achieving better oxygenation effects. The design of the rubber diaphragm peripheral sealing fixed ring and O-ring ensures the air sealing performance between the rubber diaphragm and the fixed plate. When the air pressure increases, the sealing ability also increases, which can effectively prevent air leakage. When aeration stops, the aerator diaphragm has a self-closing function and is equipped with a check valve. The micropores on the rubber diaphragm will close automatically, so that sewage will not enter the aerator system and sludge can be prevented clogged.
After stopping aeration for a long time, normal aeration can still be achieved. The aerator and air distribution pipe are connected through the thread in the special rubber adapter, which facilitates the connection and disassembly of the aeration system, and facilitates maintenance and replacement. At the same time, the special rubber adapter has a sealing function after the thread is tightened, ensuring a firm connection and reliable sealing.
