Machine vision inspection technology is to use cameras instead of
human eyes to observe, and use a computer equipped with image
processing software to analyze and judge. It has the
characteristics of non-contact, no pollution, high precision, high
speed, etc. It can improve the detection efficiency and the degree
of automation of production. Quality of products.
Inspection principle
In the actual inspection process, food cans containing specific foods are conveyed into the visual inspection system through a conveyor belt. Once the food can enters the vision inspection system, the light reflection sensor is triggered. Subsequently, encoders mounted on the conveyor belt begin to track the location information of the food boxes until the food boxes reach a preferred position in the system. A CCD industrial camera is triggered to capture a 360° view of the outside of the food box as well as an image of the lid of the food box. To detect missing labels, security stamps and date codes.
After the vision inspection system is triggered, the camera starts
to capture data and transmits these data to the PC. The machine
vision inspection software in the PC will process and analyze these
images. If a defective food can is found, the pneumatic rejection
