Pure Molybdenum wire is principally used in the high-temperature field of molybdenum furnace and radio tube outlets, also in thinning the molybdenum filament, and the molybdenum rod in heating materials for high-temperature furnace.
Physical properties of Molybdenum Wires:
Melting point: 2625 degree.
Working temperature: 1700 degree.
Recrystallization: Starting temperature≥ 850degree.
Tensile strength ≥ 800N/mm2.
Standards: GB4182-84(Chinese standard for molybdenum wires)
ASTM B386-90(American standard for molybdenum bars, rods,wires)
Usage of Pure Molybdenum Wires:
Used in making heat parts for electronic vacuum device,heating
parts,hooks of various type of bulb,mandrels of tungsten coil
wire,etc.
Molybdenum wire is widely used in lighting (such as used as
mandrel, support wire, lead-in wire, etc.), heating components,
heating material in furnace, wire-cutting, spraying wire, glass to
metal seals, printer pins,etc.
Using for all kinds of grinding tool steel, alloy steel,carbide ,
magnetic material,etc. wire - cutting.
Application of Black Molybdenum Wires:
For redrawing.
For wire cutting.
For thermal spraying coating.
