Non-sag tungsten wire is also called doped tungsten wire or 218 tungsten wire. It is made from tungsten bars, mainly used in incandescent, halogen and other electric light sources. For a variety of light bulb for the tungsten wire, also need to mix a small amount of potassium, silicon and aluminum oxides.

 

Nowadays, non sag tungsten wire is generally made of a variety of drawing dies. The main application is to create the filament and high-speed cutting steel, also used in optical instruments, chemical apparatus and so on.

Applications of Non-Sag Tungsten Wires:

 

 For producing heating elements and parts in vacuum furnaces

 For producing electric light source parts and electric vaccum components
 For producing heating elements used in vaccum metalizing or plating
 Appearance:  W-wire is regular black covered with graphite. After graphite is removed it is metallic luster.

Non-sag tungsten wires are manufactured by the high tech of doping, acid washing, isostatic pressing, PLC controlled direct-sintering, swaging and auto feeding, The products are featured with minimum deformation at high temperatures, high recrystallization temperatures, uniformity in dimension and excellent coilability.
