The natural frequency of rubber isolators is often higher than the above formula. The research of metal rubber technology aims to use metal wire as raw material to develop an elastic porous material, which can be used to prepare metal rubber components with special properties. Metal rubber components are made of metal wires and do not contain any ordinary rubber, but they have the same elasticity and porosity as rubber. They are especially suitable for solving high and low temperature, large temperature differences, high pressure, high vacuum, strong radiation, severe vibration and corrosion. Difficult problems such as damping and vibration reduction, filtering, sealing, throttling and sound absorption and noise reduction under the damping can be prepared in various structural shapes according to different working conditions. It is the best substitute for ordinary rubber under special working conditions of aerospace, national defense weapons and equipment and civilian products.

It is suitable for various fields such as aerospace, missile ship and starship, national defense weapon equipment, petrochemical industry and automobile industry, and has the distinctive features of both military and civilian use. From equipment weighing hundreds of tons to lightweight precision instruments, steel spring isolators can be applied. They are usually used where static compression is greater than 5 cm or where temperature and other environmental conditions do not allow the use of rubber and other materials.
