However, the initial contact with air springs in China was in 1957, and it was also limited to air springs for vehicles. The air springs used in other aspects were basically not involved. In the early 1980s, the Changchun Automobile Research Institute once again studied the suspension of air springs and designed a suitable air spring suspension for several domestic vehicle factories. After entering the 1990s, colleges and universities, major automobile factories, domestic air spring experts, and domestic air spring related research institutes have successively started research and development of air springs. Some researchers have replaced the leaf spring suspension of the five passenger car chassis with an air spring suspension. After many people's participation, research and development, the application of air springs is not limited to the use of vehicles, but also can be applied to major industrial equipment, locomotives and other places.
