The polycarbosilane is a precursor of ceramics with a main chain
Si-C, and contains an active organic polymer of silicone with Si-H
bond. This product takes most of the time the form of a yellow
glassy solid or amber viscous body.
Performance features:
Fragile, easy to be ground into powder.
High purity, low oxygen. The weight of the molecule can be
controlled to fit different uses.
Heat can melt the product and it can be dissolved in common organic
solvents.

1) Preparation of silicon carbide fibers
2) Preparation of ceramic coatings
3) Preparation of ceramic porous materials or foams
4) Preparation of ceramic powders
5) As inorganic binder materials
6) Production of ceramic matrix composites
Packaging:
It can be adjusted to client’s requirements. Maximum: 5Kg/bag (±
0.01 Kg). Vacuum sealed packaging or nitrogen filling packaging
(positive pressure) can be chosen.
Precautions:
This product contains active Si-H polymer, a long exposition to an
aerobic environment will result in oxidation. The product should be
stored in sealed packaging.
