Metals such as copper-nickel alloys are named for their chemical composition. As the name suggests, the majority of its alloy consists of copper and a relatively small amount of nickel. While there are different grades on the market, one of the most common is a 90/10 grade copper-nickel tube, which, by the way, has an alloy that is 90% copper. In addition to the smaller 10% nickel in the alloy, the material will also contain trace amounts of elements such as manganese and iron.
