For material, we recommend powder coated galvanized steel poles, these super durable poles are rated for outdoor wet locations. Steel is usually the least expensive and highest strength material for a pole of a given diameter and wall thickness. Steel lighting poles is an excellent choice for projects located in high wind areas and areas that need to withstand large and/or heavy loads and these poles can survive heavy human traffic.
