# Monel Alloy Welding Wire Properties There are two kinds of cobalt based alloy in our company, one is
welding rod, and the other is powder. The main trade no are Co 1,
Co 6, Co 12 & Co 21. Cobalt based alloy rod mainly used for
MIG, TIG & Oxyacetylene welding. Cobalt based alloy powder
mainly used for plasma transferred arce welding(PTA) for pieces.
For the size of powder and diameter and length of welding rod, we
can adjust as your requirements. AWS A5.21 RCoCr-C (HR-Co 1) It has excellent wear and heat resistance at high temperature.
Recommended use for making valve seal inserts , rotating sealing
ring, drill heads, cutter edge ,etc
AWS A5.21 RCoCr-A ( HR-Co 6) The most widely used Cobalt Alloy with good mechanical properties
at different temperatures, Recommended use for making valve seat
material, hot shear blade, high temperature valve , turbine blade
,etc.
AWS A5.21 RCoCr-B (HR-Co 12) It has excellent resistance on high heat, corrosion and abrasion.
Recommended use for making high- pressure valve, shear edge, sawteeth, etc.
AWS A5.21 RCoCr-E (HR-Co 21) It has excellent resistance on high heat, corrosion and abrasion.
Recommended use for making fuild valve, brass casting die , vlave
