Digital Medical Ultrasonic Cleaner

Our digital series of medical ultrasonic cleaner is eqquiped with LED digital readouts of timer as well as temperature controller. The machines comes with micro-processor based ultrasonic generator which is installed within the cleaning machines thereby saving a lot of space and making it a benchtop cleaning applicaion machines.

Our digital medical ultrasonic cleaner holds upto- 25-30 liers of water capcity and can Clean all types of surgical instuments within 3-5 minutes of applications. The machine is very handy and easy to operate and come with a stainless steel mesh basket. We use SS body for all our machines makes.

Digital Medical ultrasonic cleaner is used in CSSD units, clinics, hospitals OTs , laboratories and other places.

Ultrasonic energy: What is it and how is it produced?

Ultrasonic energy is an effective technology routinely used by healthcare facilities to clean surgical and dental instruments prior to terminal sterilization.6,7 Different types of cleaning devices, designed both for bench (or table) tops or for the floor, use ultrasonic energy to optimize their cleaning effectiveness. This energy is produced by transducers mounted on the outside of the cleaning device's processing basin, which is typically constructed of stainless steel. When powered by an electronic generator, these transducers expand and contract at a very high frequency, converting electric energy to ultrasonic waves of energy. These high-intensity sound waves commonly travel at frequencies between 20 and 120 kHz (1 kHz equals 1000 Hz, or oscillations per second) throughout the processing basin. To enhance the efficient transmission of these waves of energy, immersing the soiled instruments in an appropriate liquid medium, such as a detergent solution, is essential. Although ultrasonic waves are inaudible, harmonics of the ultrasonic cleaner's primary, or fundamental, frequency may produce audible sound.

 

Q - Does the material or shape of the sonic tank impact their effectiveness?

Tank materials play a large part in the absorption and dispersion of ultrasonics. As mentioned previously soft materials such as plastics will absorb the ultrasonics. They can however be used if the ultrasonic power is boosted to overcome the absorption. Tanks shape plays less of a part in design but needs to be considered. Ultrasonic power does reflect from not only tank walls but also from the water surface.
