Vertical Axis Wind Turbine Generators are wind turbines with the main rotor axis installed vertically, with power ranging from 1 kW to 5 kW, 10 kW, and 20 kW. Compared to traditional horizontal axis wind turbines (HAWTs), VAWTs have several advantages. They can be assembled more closely together in a wind farm, providing more space within a given area. They are smaller, or more precisely, the slowing effect of the drag forces the designers to space them apart ten times their width.

Senwei vertical axis wind turbines are robust, quiet, lightweight, and omnidirectional, exerting minimal pressure on support structures. They don't require as much wind to generate power, making them suitable for installation in urban areas.
