Introduction

The Iron and manganese removal filter is with manganese sand filter media. Through catalysis of manganese filter to oxidize the ferrous iron and manganese ion in water into trivalent ion, and then absorbs with natural manganese sand to reduce the iron and manganese ions in water.

The aeration is adopted to oxidize ferrous iron and manganese ion into Fe(OH)3 and MnO2. Based on the iron and manganese content in water, jet flow aeration or hollow multi-surface ball built in aeration tower may be adopted. Iron and manganese removal filter is widely applied to the water purifications in drinking water, food, paper-making, and textile, printing and dyeing, beverage, pharmaceutics, electronics and thermal power generation industries.

Applications

Fluorine containing water is absorbed by activated aluminum oxide and form into dissolvable fluoride. When defluorination capability decreases to certain limit, or say saturated, with regeneration of reclaiming agents, defluorination capability of the absorbent is recovered. Aluminum sulfate is adopted for regenerating clean at the ratio of 60:1 of the quantity of aluminum sulfate and that of defluorination amount. Regeneration concentration is 1% - 2%. After 3-4 months operation, use hydro chlorine solution (3.5% concentration) to clean and then rinse with defluorination water for 8-10 minutes.
