Ⅰ.Introduction
Water Retaining Agent is a kind of new functional water absorbent polymer, It contains lots of hydrophilic groups and excellent molecule structure. It can absorb hundred times of water of its own weight in a short time, and release afterwards slowly and absorb repeatedly. Therefore, it can form a miniature reservoir around the plant's root, keep a moist environment and develop water and fertilizer retaining capacity of soil effectively, increase using rate of water and fertilizer, improve the structure and ventilation of soil, create a good growing environment for the plant.
The Water Retaining Agent is acrylate / acrylamide copolymer. It is produced by advanced equipment and unique techniques; therefore the product's capacity becomes more excellent. The product's absorbing rate is high, and the gel is firm after absorbing water. It can be used repeatedly under the soil's pressure, and keep the soil ventilated and keep the soil from hardening. It has super capacity of absorption, and it can release afterwards, so it can reduce running off, exaltation the utilization of the fertilizer and agrochemical, and lower the pollution of the environment. This product can degradable completely. It can be gradually degraded into carbon dioxide, water and nitrogen etc. after being used in soil for 2-3 years, so it is beneficial and harmless to the soil, and it will improve the original ecosystem environment.

Ⅲ.Applying Extent
Water Retaining Agent (Item SPKB 110) is mainly used for gardening and household planting, etc
Water Retaining Agent (Item SPKB 102) is mainly used for afforesting, landscaping, and desert healing, etc.
Water Retaining Agent (Item SPKB 204) is mainly used for crops planting, seedling, and sodding, etc.
Water Retaining Agent (Item SPKB 410)is mainly used for root moistening, seed clothing, and seed shaping, etc.
Ⅳ.Usage
Wet mix:Mix Water Retaining Agent and water by 1:150. Wait 3-6 hours (add fertilizer if needed). Put expanded Water Retaining Agent into holes or ditches and mix with soil evenly. (Soil is 3-5 times of weight of Water Retaining Agent). Then put the plant in the holes or ditches, fill the holes and ditches and water accordingly.
Dry mix:Put appropriate volume of Water Retaining Agent directly into the holes or ditches; mix evenly with soil by 1:500-1000 and then do the planting. Water until the Water Retaining Agent become saturated and then fill the holes.
Recommend mix rate:infancy plant: 5~10g/individual plant
mid-aged plant: 10~20g/ individual plant
adult plant: 20~30g/ individual plant
Note:The above mix rate is adjustable according to the type of land, ravage of drought, size of sapling, and type of the plant.
2.Water Retaining Agent (ItemSPKB204)
Wet mix:Mix Water Retaining Agent and water by 1:150. Wait 1-3 hours (add fertilizer if needed). Put expanded Water Retaining Agent into holes or ditches and mix with soil evenly. (Soil is 3-5 times of weight of Water Retaining Agent). Then put the plant in the holes or ditches, fill the holes and ditches and water accordingly.
Dry mix:Put appropriate volume of Water Retaining Agent directly into the holes or ditches; mix evenly with soil by 1:500-1000 and then do the planting. Water until the Water Retaining Agent become saturated and then fill the holes.

mid-aged plant: 4~6g/ individual plant
per square area: 20~30g/m2
Note: The above mix rate is adjustable according to the type of land, ravage of drought, and type of the plant.
3.Water Retaining Agent (ItemSPKB410)
Wet mix:Agitate the Water Retaining Agent and add water by 1:150. Wait for 15-30 minutes till it expands. Put the root into the mixed gel and wait for 1 minute. Then the plant can be transplanted when gel gets dry. If the plant needs long way transportation, a plastic sheet might be used to wrap the root to prevent the quick water losing.
Dry mix:Water the root first, then spread Water Retaining Agent powder on the root evenly and at last spray some water accordingly. (Do not over water; it will wash away the powder.)
Recommend mix rate:1kg Water Retaining Crystals can be used in 2000 saplings’ transplanting.
Note:The above mix rate is adjustable according to practical circumstances.
4. Water Retaining Agent for Household Planting(ItemSPKB110)
Wet mix:Mix 1 teaspoon of Water Retaining Agent with 500mls of water, wait 1 hour then mix the expanded Water Retaining Agent with 5 liters of potting mix.
Dry mix:Mix 1 teaspoon of Water Retaining Agent with every 5 liters potting mix. Pot up plant then water in thoroughly.
For established plants:Make vertical holes in potting mix or soil towards the root zone and add Water Retaining Agent. Water in then fill holes.
For laying turf:Evenly spread 10g of Water Retaining Agent per m2before laying turf then water.
For sowing seeds:Mix 10g of Water Retaining Agent per m2into top 50mm of topsoil, sow seed then water.
Note:The above mix rate can be increased in dry, drought or extreme conditions.
Ⅴ.Notes
