Hastelloy Pipe Welding
The thing about Hastelloy pipe welding, is that it is a nickel based alloy and thus, it has to be purged, in the same way that stainless steel is. But Hastelloy can also be welded by using a wire feeding technique, which is kind of different than the one used with the welding of stainless steel. Also, in the welding process of this alloy, preheat should not be used. Plus, when it is being welded, it is vital that a low interpass temperature is maintained.
