Why is the open mill able to convert high elastic raw rubber into plasticized rubber with plasticity?

Plasticizing with an open mill is mainly to break the original macromolecular chain of the rubber material through the shearing and squeezing action of the two relatively rotating rollers, thereby making the original rubber material. The elasticity is reduced and the plasticity is improved, which is beneficial to the following processing steps.

The plasticizing methods currently used are mainly the wrap-roll plasticizing method and the thin-pass plasticizing method.
