Introduction

SSMP is a compact push-on RF coaxial connector that offers several advantages over traditional SMP connectors. It has a smaller volume, lighter weight, and a wide operating bandwidth. This makes it ideal for board-to-board connections in modular, densely packed applications. The plug features two interface options, one with full detent and the other with an unthreaded hole.

This floating bullet serves as a link between the mated pairs and compensates for both radial and axial misalignment.
