Synthetic Macro fiber
Product Description
Briture Synthetic Macrofiber is made of Polypropylene. Polypropylene macro fiber (PP macrofiber)for concrete is one
of pp fiber used for reinforcing concrete products and mainly used
for structural fibers.
Provide good impact,fatigue,shrinkage control and ductility in
all grade concretes.Cost saving,Is easier to use,to disperse and
safe to handle.Can be used in highly corrosive circumstance.The
surface has been embossed,which greatly improves the cohesive force
between fibres and concrete,and also boosts shrinkage resistance
and crack resistance.The toughness of macro synthetic fibre is less
stronger than steel fibre.But test has shown slabs on grade and
pre-cast concrete predominately require a dosage rate of between
25kg-40kg of steel fibres per cubic meter, in comparison,using
between 3kg-10kg of macro synthetic fibre per cubic meter of
concrete. Synthetic fibres achieve greater strength and ductility
in the matrix.Estimating Data
These fibers are wrapped in bundles of water-soluble film and
packed in cartons. When used, just put the whole boxes of the
fibers into concrete.
The cartons and film are dissolved in water and the fibers are
evenly dispersed in the concrete mixture.

Features

5. The strength of synthetic macro fiber is not as strong as that
of steel fiber, but the experiment shows that under the same
conditions, each cubic meter concrete needs 3kg-6kg of synthetic
macro fiber, while steel fiber needs 25kg-40kg. The results show
that the concrete with macro synthetic fiber has better toughness
and anti-microcrack effect.
Proposed Dosage
The dosage rate is dependent on the actual application however the
minimum dosage range is 3kg/ m3-6kg / m3
Typical Application
Shotcrete, concrete engineering, such as foundations, roads,
Bridges, DAMS, especially in the deformation and toughness of the
higher
requirements of the project.
Guideline of use
The fibres are wrapped with water-soluble film and uniquely
packaged in paper boxes.Then just throw the whole boxes of fibres
into the concrete mixture, the boxes and film then dissolve within
seconds, leaving the fibres to disperse evenly throughout the
mixture.
