Product Description
Copper-coated steel fiber
Steel fibers today offer the designer and constructer
state-of-the-art technology for use as reinforcement in many
concrete elements and applications. There are many varieties of
styles, shapes and sizes of steel fibers in the market today.
Introducing steel fibers into the concrete mix provide new
mechanical properties. We now have a new material, with improved
mechanical properties that can enhance structural applications. The
fibers can be included as a substitute for the common steel
reinforcement, or as a complement, or for a better performance for
strain that the common reinforcement can't absorb.Micro steel fiber
as a kind of admixtures or aggregate of concrete, which is also
named brass coated micro steel fiber or micro steel rebars widely
used for concrete reinforcement and concrete slabs.
Property
In mechanical and performance terms, by adding steel fibers to the
concrete mix you can:
1.Increase and get a stable of tensile strength under flexion load,
which produces a ductile behavior
2.Increase impact resistance
3. Increase cyclic loads of resistance (fatigue effect)
4. Increase prevention of the plastic shrinkage crack
5. Increase the concrete performance against thermal variations
6. Get minor permeability
Application
It is more and more popular used in FRC(Fiber reinforced concret)
field. Application aspects have asphalt pavement, roads, tunnel
construction, concrete slabs and industrial warehouse flooring etc.
Brass coated micro steel fiber has been widely used in many aspects
such as highway road construction, bridge construction project, dam
construction project,tunnel interior wall shotcrete,concrete
slabs, industrial warehouse flooring and asphalt pavement etc.
1. Tunneling
2. Industrial flooring
3.Airport pavements
4. Precast
5.Pre-compressed concrete
6.UHPC
