What is the difference between red light and near-infrared light?
A: Red light and near-infrared light are both natural light
wavelengths from the sun and have been clinically proven to enhance
cell function.
The main difference is that 660nm red light only penetrates the
body to a depth of about 5-10mm and may help improve skin health
and collagen production. Invisible to the human eye, 850nm
near-infrared light penetrates 50mm to 75mm deep into the body,
providing energy and anti-inflammatory benefits.

the combination is perfect and our irradiance measurements are
based on two wavelengths of light, not just one wavelength turned
