"Chengde green", also known as "Yanshan green" and "rich and
precious green", is a unique timber species in China. "Chengde
green" granite resources are mainly concentrated in the town of Jia
Shan, Chengde. It is located in the southeast of Chengde County,
Hebei province. It is located in the eastern section of the Yanshan
mountains. It is 43 kilometers from the historic city of Chengde
and 7 kilometers from Chengde to the county town of Chengde. There
are 3 railway freight stations in the area, with a total area of
174 square kilometers, with a total population of 22 thousand

According to the geological survey, the geological reserves of
"Chengde green" granite resources in the town of Jia Shan are 2

million cubic meters. Ore bodies are mainly distributed in 7
villages, Zhao Jia Zhuang West mining area of 1 billion 200 million
cubic meters. The rock is a green and coarse grained orthopyroxene,
mainly composed of minerals such as feldspar, secondary mineral
pyroxene, quartz and so on. It is black green and gray green. The
ore tones are coordinated, elegant and beautiful, the structure is
dense and glossiness is high. Some feldspar appears transparent and
blue flash, which makes it more beautiful and endow infinite charm,
too. The stone is very famous. "Chengde green" granite series have
"Chengde blue" "Blue Leopard" "desert oasis" "green diamond ice
flower" and other nearly 10 varieties, of which "Chengde green" No.
1 and 2 are rare and famous high-grade ornamental stone varieties
in China. The ore has an acid tolerance of 99.85%, a alkali
resistance of 100%, a compressive strength of 90.6MPa, a flexural
strength of 128MPa, and a hardness of 90. The rock mass in the
mining area has been tested by the relevant departments, and the
radioactivity is in line with the national standard. It is suitable
for the decoration of public facilities, buildings, hotels and
residential buildings.
