Triethyl O-Acetylcitrate 77-89-4 can be dissolved with cellulose acetate,cellulose nitrate, cellulose acetate butyrate and ethyl cellulose etc.. Triethyl O-Acetylcitrate 77-89-4 has high boiling point, small volatility, hydrolysis resistance. LD50 for mice is1150mg/kg, LD50 for rat is 7000mg/kg.

Triethyl O-Acetylcitrate (ATEC) is accepted by FDA for use as plasticizer in food packaging material, medical products, prepare flavor, essence, soft toys for children and produce cosmetics, in hair sprays and in nail polish.
The main applications of O-Acetylcitric Acid Triethyl Ester are in tablet coatings in the pharmaceutical sector and in formulations and transparent PVC films.
