Good Stability 20D-25 NTC Thermistor High Sensitivity Strong
Overload Capacity
Thermistors are usually used as temperature sensors in temperature
measurement, and most thermistor bodies are made of metal oxide
compounds. Metal oxides such as nickel oxide, manganese oxide,
cobalt oxide, and iron oxide are raw materials for thermistors. The
characteristic of a thermistor is that once it heats up, its
resistance will change. Some thermistors have a smaller heating
resistance, and some thermistors have a larger heating resistance.
Each has its own use. The thermistor will be in a non-action state
for a long time; when the ambient temperature and current are in
the c zone, the heat dissipation power of the thermistor is close
to the heating power, so it may or may not act. When the thermistor
is at the same ambient temperature, the operating time is shortened
sharply with the increase of the current; the thermistor has a
shorter operating time and a smaller holding current and operating
current when the ambient temperature is relatively high. Nowadays,
thermistors are widely used in daily life, and are widely used in
various fields such as household appliances, power industry,
communications, military science, and aerospace, and their
development prospects are extremely broad.
The main features of a thermistor are as follows.
(1) The sensitivity is high, the temperature resistance coefficient
is large, and its temperature coefficient of resistance is 10 to
100 times larger than that of metals, and it can detect temperature
changes of 6°C.
(2) The working temperature range is wide. The normal temperature
device is suitable for -55-315°C, the high-temperature device is
suitable for a temperature higher than 315°C (currently the highest
can reach 2000°C), and the low-temperature device is suitable for
-273-55°C.
(3) The structure is simple, the volume is small, and it can
measure the temperature of gaps, cavities and blood vessels in
living organisms that cannot be measured by other thermometers.
(4) Easy to use, the resistance value can be arbitrarily selected
from 0.1 to 100k.
Classification of thermistors:
1. Semiconductor thermistor material
These materials include single crystal semiconductors,
polycrystalline semiconductors, glass semiconductors, organic
semiconductors and metal oxides. They all have a large temperature
coefficient of resistance and high resistivity, and the sensors
composed of them are very sensitive.
2. Metal thermistor material
The material is widely used in RTD temperature measurement, current
limiters and automatic thermostatic heating elements. Such as
platinum resistance thermometers, nickel resistance thermometers,
copper resistance thermometers, platinum side temperature sensors,
etc., have obvious high precision and stability in various media
Because the thermistor is basically customized products, the price
of goods is not the original price, the price is subject to the
formal quotation. | |

Negative temperature coefficient thermistor, also known as NTC
thermistor, is a kind of sensor resistance whose resistance value
decreases with the increase of temperature. Widely used in various
electronic components, such as temperature sensors, resettable
fuses and self-adjusting heaters, etc.
