Cummins Gas Engine Sets are packaged and shipped in accordance with industry standards. The engine set is enclosed in a corrugated cardboard box with a plastic liner. This box is then further secured by straps and/or shrink wrap to prevent any damage during transport. The engine set is placed on a pallet and shrink-wrapped. The pallet is then strapped down and secured to prevent any movement during shipping.
For international shipping, the engine set is placed into a wooden crate and secured with nails or screws. The crate is then shrink-wrapped and strapped down. All wood used for the crate must meet ISPM-15 standards for international shipping.
