ASTM B444 Inconel Alloy 625 Seamless Pipe and Tubing
Inconel 625 is a corrosion and oxidation resistant nickel alloy for its high strength and excellent water-based corrosion resistance. Its excellent strength and toughness are due to the addition of niobium, which together with molybdenum hardens the matrix of the alloy.
Inconel 625 is a kind of alloy with density of 8.4 g / cm3, melting point of 1290-1350 ℃, excellent resistance to inorganic acid corrosion, and excellent corrosion resistance to various corrosive media in oxidation and reduction environment.
625 alloy shows excellent corrosion resistance in many media. It has excellent resistance to pitting corrosion, crevice corrosion, intergranular corrosion and erosion in chloride medium.
